NEIGHBORHOOD BASED ON THE SIMS 2 INTRO - OPENING VALLEY | NO CC

Knutley is my second attempt at a custom Sims 2 neighborhood. My first attempt was Edgewood. It will always have a special place in my heart, but I made many mistakes and wanted to start fresh with all the knowledge from that attempt.

  1. Once you downloaded the Neighborhood, you need to extract it into your Documents / The Sims 2 (Ultimate Collection) / Neighborhoods folder. Wakefield is numbered N007 so it shouldn’t cause an issue, but if you already have 7 neighborhoods, let me know and I can renumber it for you. After you did this you need to download the Custom Script.

Neighborhoods that have story pictures may be included in the Neighborhoods Name of Neighborhood File Name Storytelling, or if a person only has the base game version of The Sims 2, the Documents EA Games The Sims 2 Storytelling. Subneighborhoods are installed by replacing the Maxis/EA neighborhood with the custom version and entering the.

Opening Valley is a town where you are sure to recognize many familiar faces! The neighborhood takes inspiration from the intro of The Sims 2, that everyone who has played the game has seen before. Every character shown in the intro has their own unique name, story, personality and relationships. Complete with descriptions for every character, the map also features all houses and public lots from the intro as well as an additional 12 unoccupied lots, and much much more!


Requirements:

This neighborhood was made in the Ultimate Collection, thus it needs ALL Expansion and Stuff Packs to work correctly.

This map was made in its entirety by myself (and my boyfriend <3). None of the lots are premade or downloaded from other creators, however some lots do take inspiration from places in The Sims 3 (which you may recognize if you know that game well!).
